A made my games into products.
During the criation of my game sites - Word Search, Sudoku, KenKen, Agrupa, Nomen (Wordle) - I decied to make my games into products so others could have them on their websites. All my players become exclusive embedable iframes. Games from a client cannot not be distributed to the iframe of another client.
Since the main reason to put games on a website is to increase traffic and user time on the site, I made a simple Analytics API to track the main usability metrics. It makes easier to convince people the service is useful once they see the metrics. We track impressions, game starts, gameovers, victories, time on page, and time with game in focus.
